The Daily Detox

A well-designed, mindful cleanse can help you detoxify your liver, colon and kidneys; clear your skin; alleviate candida; increase your overall energy levels; and lose weight for the long term.

But some detox programs involve fasting or food deprivation combined with complicated mixes, powders and supplements. Others include powerful herbs and drink mixes to promote a laxative effect and boost rapid–though temporary–weight loss. At the end of it you may be cleansed and revitalized; or you may be weakened and drained.

The fact is, fasting is one of the most stressful things you can do to your body. There are exceptions, of course; but if you’re living your usual, fast-paced life without eating, you’re going to create stress. And the biggest problem with typical detox diets: most are quick-fixes, and don’t encourage long-term change, avoidance of food allergens, lifestyle practices, or (most important), explorations of emotional eating.

Our approach is to support, nourish and rebuild your body, with a comprehensive approach that eliminates toxins and allergens, emphasizes low-glycemic, nutrient-rich foods, and nourishes the liver. With our Daily Detox approach, you’ll learn how to take cleansing into a gentle, daily practice that you can do at home–with no fasting.
